Val Patch

Val Patch is an association from the Silver Valley (Val d’Argent in Franch) region (Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines, Lièpvre and Rombach-le-Franc), which is composed of over 20 friends. Its members are patchwork enthusiasts and some of them have been patchworking for over 30 years.

They all have different scholarly backgrounds and different experiences in the textile industry, which lead them to make more traditional, contemporary and modern pieces straight from their imaginations.

More than just VINTAGE

This year, Val Patch has pulled a new collection out of its lace, fabric and pattern drawers: VINTAGE.

Its members have enjoyed interpreting photos in a special series called “the eye of the seamstress from behind the camera”.

Finally, a dozen of Val Patch’s quilters took part in the “LES MAISONS” quilt along challenge by Cécile and Corinne. These pieces will be accompanied by a small selection picked by the organisers amongst all the participants.

On top of these three themes, as per usual, Val Patch will present a selection of their work.
