France Patchwork

In 2024, France Patchwork, the French Quilt Guild, celebrates its 40th anniversary, reaffirming its desire to showcase its know-how and exchange practices. The aim of this voluntary association is to promote patchwork and its different fields (Artextures, Quilts de Légende, Les Jeunes Poussent, Modern Quilt, Traditional…).

With worldwide representation, France Patchwork is the link between thread enthusiasts, each member nourishing and enriching the community at shared moments such as Amitié days, shows, exhibitions…

To strengthen this bond, France Patchwork publishes a quarterly magazine, reflecting current events in the textile world in France and abroad. Packed with models, reports and news, it’s the magazine for lovers of patchwork, from the most traditional to the most modern.

Les Jeunes Poussent: Monsters & robots (contest)

Every year, France Patchwork organizes a competition reserved for the youngest members of the association: les “Jeunes poussent”. The association encourages them to give free rein to their imagination.

This year’s theme was Monsters and Robots. Whether good or bad, monsters have always fascinated us, and robots are part of our daily lives! But how to depict them? What materials to use?

The pieces on display show the talent of the children, who once again demonstrated their inventiveness with some surprising works.
