Machine sunflower block

Workshop topic: Traditional Machine quilting
Languages: French flag
Nb of students: 15

The sunflower block is usually made by hand. Thanks to my intensive use of the sewing machine, including for traditional sewing, I can now offer trainees the chance to machine-piece this block, for fast production and excellent results . After a detailed explanation of the method I use, trainees will use the templates provided to prepare fabric pieces for machine assembly. I’ll give them advice on color matching and follow-up on machine assembly. Trainees should leave the course in the evening with their blocks almost complete.

Prior to the training day, trainees will be able to see the quilt I made using my method, exhibited at the QUILT EN REVE exhibition. Its title: Sunflowers and Diamonds.
