Combine a variety of precise curves with improv piecing in this day long workshop. With the help of template sets, participants will create their own, unique, improv masterpiece. We’ll discuss various options for piecing the improv slabs, as well as tips for using large and small quarter circle squares to create the curves.

- Sewline (or other brand) glue pen
Fabrics to bring + lengh
- Various scraps to sew together to make an approximate 14cm square (off cuts from previous projects or orphan blocks may be used.)
- Two or three assorted solid pieces of fabric approximately 18 cm, 25 cm, 33 cm for a total of 5 or 6 pieces.
- Background fabric 3/4 meter up to 5 meters of background fabric depending on project size.

Daisy ASCHEHOUG
Daisy Aschehoug started quilting in 2010 and designing quilts for magazines in 2016. Most of her quilt designs incorporate some element of curved piecing into a modern traditional design aesthetic, and many of her quilt designs have won awards. In 2020, Daisy published her first book with co-author Heather Black: Quilt Modern Curves and Bold Stripes. Her next book, Quilting with Curves, will be published in May of 2023. Daisy is a member of Norsk Quilteforbundet, the Modern Quilt Guild, and the Studio Art Quilt Associates. Daisy moved to Norway with her family in 2017, and she maintains a quilt studio just south of Oslo on Nesodden.
