Feathers are one of the most graceful and rewarding quilting motifs. Once you master them, they allow you to fill areas, borders, and even entire quilts quickly and beautifully. In this class, we’ll start with simple feather shapes, then explore how to stretch, adapt, and vary them to fit different parts of your design. The goal is to use feathers creatively to enhance the overall look of your quilt with rhythm and movement.
This class is open to all levels – beginners and advanced quilters are welcome.
It will be taught in French, English, and German.
Please bring a pair of thread snips and a white marking pen or chalk pencil.
Fabric and thread will be provided during the class.
