If you’re looking to improve your precision and craftsmanship, this workshop is for you!
Students will refine both hand sewing and machine quilting techniques while creating a beautiful and practical project: the Tiny Pear Pouch.
This hands-on class offers the chance to work on a small scale, with attention to detail and finish.
Participants will learn how to:
– Work with Hexiform templates and fusible foam stabilizer,
– Align and sew precise diamond shapes with clean, perfect points,
– Quilt a cross-hatch design,
– Use single-fold binding and apply it to a curved edge,
– Attach a zipper by hand for a neat and durable finish.
Along the way, students will also build confidence in handling curved shapes and structural elements.
This workshop is ideal for quilters who enjoy thoughtful construction and want to elevate their technique while making something useful and charming.
Basic hand and machine sewing skills are required.
