This workshop introduces fabric painting through stenciling, opening the door to the world of mixed media techniques applied to textile art.
The main foundation is fabric, and techniques such as sewing and embroidery remain central for assembling, enhancing, and decorating the final piece.
Stencil work offers many advantages: it provides great freedom of expression and allows participants to experience a sense of creative empowerment.
Students will learn how to design their own stencils, print patterns, cut and arrange them to create a personalized “leaf carpet”, which will then be embellished with embroidery.
