Born in 1984 in Hanoi, Tram studied at the Vietnam University of Fine Art, graduating in 2006, and later trained at the prestigious École Lesage in Paris in 2013.Her work has been featured in several exhibitions including Silken Thread – Eco Colors (2024), Indochina Sense (2024), Love of Nature (2023), Skilled Hands Shared Culture (2021), Carrefour Européen du Patchwork (2019), and Made in Hoi An (2016).Deeply committed to embroidery as cultural heritage, Tram has built her journey by learning from historical artifacts, embroidery masters across Asia, and traditional craft villages in Vietnam, as well as through her time at Lesage.For the past ten years, she has dedicated herself to elevating Vietnamese embroidery on the international textile art scene through research, teaching, and exhibitions.Her work explores heritage techniques, traditional aesthetics, and ancestral knowledge about silk, threads, and natural dyes.Driven by a desire to preserve and share this legacy, she continues to pass on the richness of Vietnamese embroidery to new audiences, blending deep cultural roots with contemporary vision.
