JongKyeong LEE

JongKyeong Lee is a Korean textile artist who has been teaching traditional and contemporary quilting for more than 20 years and has worked mainly on art quilting and textile art. She likes to express them in a fairy-tale and lyrical way with a modern and simplified design on the theme of "trees and houses". She also likes to find and develop various materials and new techniques, and apply them more creatively to textile artworks so that both she and the public can feel fresh. Recently, she immersed herself in making an organza patchwork using a burning technique with a soldering iron rather than the traditional sewing method.
