Irina Malyukova

From her very first quilt in 2014 to her solo exhibition at Carrefour in 2022, Irina Malyukova has followed a colorful and passionate path as a self-taught quilter.Originally from Russia, Irina has lived in Finland for many years, where her quilting journey truly began.Over time, she has explored a wide range of techniques, eventually falling in love with hand sewing and improvisation, which have become central to her creative approach.Since 2021, she has had the privilege of teaching internationally, including in Finland, Germany, and, of course, France.As a teacher, pattern designer, and blogger, she shares her passion for quilting with warmth and generosity, inspiring others to experiment, explore, and express themselves through fabric.Irina welcomes students of all levels to join her in discovering the joy, freedom, and artistry of quilting.
