Chantal GUILLERMET & Lena MESZAROS
Chantal draws her inspiration from her travels, from the landscapes that surround her and from nature. She often uses her own photos to create textile paintings. Chantal dyes, paints, prints or bleaches her fabrics. She likes to mix and experiment with different techniques.
Most of her creations are figurative and recreate an atmosphere or a memory.
Lena: At the crossroads of several cultures, she creates figurative paintings that revolve around emotion. She calls them her "internal landscapes", where we find animated objects, imaginary places, situations at the border of the real and the fantastic. She uses a wide range of techniques: painting, acrylic pouring, embossed metal, ecoprint, burned lutradur, always in experimentation.
