France Patchwork & Guldusi

France Patchwork, the French quilting association, and Guldusi, a German association closely connected with embroiderers in Afghanistan, are joining forces to organize a festive competition: The Floral Logo.

The originality of Ina Statescu’s work, a well-known Franco-Romanian artist on the international scene, lies in her combination of various textile techniques, playing with materials, shapes, and colors, She has exhibited in several countries and has been teaching textile art since 1990.

Guldusi

Guldusi is a hand embroidery program launched in 2004, now enabling 200 women in Afghanistan to support their families.These embroideries, mainly integrated into patchworks, showcase the evolution of Afghan craftsmanship and its incorporation into European textile art through competitions—an artistic and intercultural exchange like no other.

Tania Tanti

Tania Tanti blends color and imagination in her abstract landscapes, using paint and stitched threads. Her work explores nature, texture, and her emotional journey, offering depth and personality while creating immersive experiences through art.

Marie-Francine Brochard

Marie-Francine Brochard discovered the world of patchwork and textile art 30 years ago.Committed to the France Patchwork -The French Quilt Guild-, first as a delegate and then as president, she was responsible for Artextures for 15 years.

Dianne Firth

Dianne Firth, a quilter for almost 50 years, is a landscape architect and academic. She exhibits regularly in juried exhibitions and her works are held in public and private collections around the world.

Shin-hee Chin

Born in Seoul, Shin-hee Chin earned her BFA/MFA from Hongik University and an MA in Fiber Arts from Cal State Long Beach.A Tabor College professor, her work explores identity, hybridity, and belonging through feminist traditions and spirituality.
