Getting Here
Whether you’re coming by car, train, or plane, reaching the Val d’Argent is easy:
The event is accessible via major road networks. Parking is available in all four villages (see the Val d’Argent map [link or anchor]).
- From Mulhouse or Strasbourg: take the A35 motorway, exit 17, then RN59 toward Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines.
- From Nancy or Saint-Dié: follow RN59 via the Col de Sainte-Marie or through the Maurice Lemaire tunnel (toll road).
SNCF offers daily connections to the train stations in Sélestat and Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, with TER bus line A20 covering the last leg to the Val d’Argent.

The closest airports are Strasbourg, Basel-Mulhouse, and Zurich. From each, you can rent a car or use public transportation to get to the event.

Each village offers parking near the exhibition venues, but capacity is limited. Use the interactive map to plan ahead—or take it easy and use the free shuttle service: once you’ve arrived in the Val d’Argent, you won’t need your car.
Free shuttle buses are available to travel between the villages and exhibition venues. Buses serve all four villages and stop approximately every 20 minutes.
Shuttle schedules and itineraries will be communicated closer to the event.
Venue Guidelines
To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone and to help preserve the artworks:
● Do not touch the quilts
● No food or drinks inside the exhibitions
● No flash for photos or videos
● No animals allowed, except assistance dogs
Accommodation

Accommodation in the Val d’Argent is limited and tends to fill up quickly year after year. We recommend booking as early as possible.
