Quilter, artist, and curator, Tara Glastonbury lives in Melbourne, Australia. She advocates for modern quilting and particularly for the recognition of modern quilts as a full-fledged art form (especially in Australia).This is her fourth exhibition and the first to include international artists.The quilters represented here are among the most exciting artists in the modern quilt movement today. Among the group members are artists whose works have been acquired in public and private collections, recognized teachers published in various magazines and books, and winners of international awards.In addition to Tara, the Australian artists include Jessica Wheelahan, Tania Tanti, Diana Vandeyar, Phong Chi Lai, Caroline Hadley and Lorena Uriarte – all of whom regularly feature in exhibitions organized by Tara Glastonbury.Their international partners on this project are Victoria Gertenbach, Chawne Kimber, Irene Roderick, Sarah Hibbert, Hetal Shrivastav, Daisy Aschehoug and Krista Hennebury.Guided tour: daily at 11 AM (FR and EN)
