The International Carrefour Competition offers an exceptional platform to quilters from all over the world.Each year, in the fall, a theme is created by the organizers of Carrefour, leading to a new edition of the competition, open to all patchwork enthusiasts. Several months of imagination and creation are required for each participant to craft their work before registering in the spring.Three judges then analyze all the works based on photographs and create a selection of the 30 quilts that best represent the theme of the year. This selection is then presented as a preview in September at Carrefour. The award ceremony is held in grand style to reward the artists with numerous prizes, which are then revealed: grand prize, public choice award, organization prize, and various sponsor prizes.After this launch, a long journey of 10 months awaits the 30 works in the best art galleries, museums, and patchwork events around the world: a wonderful opportunity for artists to showcase their work internationally!
