Quilts selected for this exhibition represent the range of styles, materials and techniques used by New Zealand quilt makers. Fabric and thread may be dyed, stencilled, painted, screen printed, or drawn with crayons or pencils. Fabrics may be new, or reused from clothing and household textiles. Quilting techniques include free motion quilting, ruler work, hand quilting and thread painting.
